Dan I am with Allen an immature red tail .5 of us shooting today saw a sharp-shinned and the talk went on, coopers or sharpy ,The shots we got are only ID shots at best and I have to study the ones I got

With the reddish eye, looks like a Coopers Hawk. How big was it. Red Tail is a bigger bird than coopers. I would say a Red Tail is a medium to large bird while coopers is med to small...
