So I have to study it to try and figure out what's up. First I notice is that the kid has incredible body language and your title is apropos. So why is he shrunken up? Well looks like he is on top of a table. Hmmm... but why the handlebars? I think he is actually sitting on a cart that is pedal powered! But no adult visible, so is he just waiting or is this his normal position for transport?

Only YOU know! But I had a good time figuring out the above (whether correct or not...)

Here is what I think it is. The boy is the son of the person with the three wheeled cart. From the stuff in the cart, it looks like the person is selling dinner, or what we call in China, xiao chi. From the build of the child and his body language, the person pedaling the three wheeler is a man.

Michswiss, please correct me where I am wrong.

Oops, I forgot to tell ya, GREAT SHOT!

Why read any more than necessary into this great shot - IMHO the title says it all - period.
Fantastic work at telling the story - in one word no less.
