Displaying sub galleries of a Category

I am hoping to make something for wordpress that can list the first X number of sub galleries of a specific category from smug mug with a link to view entire list. I'd like to do this so we don't have to enter new galleries into smug mug then go to our site and insert an image and link to the new gallery there as well.

My question is, is there a way to get the listing of galleries via RSS or am I going to need to get an API key?
