Been a while since I've dropped by the forum. Thought I would post a few images from my most recent wedding at St Margaret's Chapel, Edinburgh Castle.

Did you by any chance get any photos of the whole castle? Scottish castles & landscapes are soooo pretty
Um, Angie, ALL of Scotland is beautiful!!!
Oh, Scotland, how I wish to see thee. One day, maybe one day.
Beautiful pictures, by the way - you'll have to tip us off on how you turned on that lantern in Photoshop!

The photoshop technique was quite straighforward.. get rid of the horrible energy saving bulb, enhance tonal contrast to bring out stone detail, add lens flare with mask to show only the light "source", convert to 8-bit and add spotlight rendering.

Thanks.
I wish there had been mist for the wedding - it was foggy earlier. The bright sunlight was a bit of a challenge out of the shade.

Scotland is going to be my adventure after Spain!

My advice is once you have seen Edinburgh.. get away to the west coast and as far north as you can manage. For me Scotland is about small villages on loch and sea shores, nestled underneath mountains. If you get as far as the Western Isles, take in the culture of a people who's first language is not English.
