sonny - could you share where you have gotten these backgrounds? Are they purchased from a commercial source, or are they from somewhere else?
8ball - I have discovered there is a TON of free stuff out there for Photshop. Just go and google 'photoshop free backgrounds' and you'll find a ton of stuff.
Here are just a few that I saved in my favorites when I was trying to find backgrounds:
Google - it's a wonderful thing!! You'll be amazed at what people are willing to share - even when they have obviously spent alot of time building them.
MNGirl pretty much said it all. Google is your friend.
Thanks, I wasn't sure.. There are a ton out there, but sifting through all the results to find the right images for print is a little daunting at times..

And it can really suck up a ton of time. Some evenings I've sat on the couch with my laptop and started searching and downloading and I'll find I just spent 3 hrs!!
What I discovered is that people are sharing them through Flicker accounts. Remember when you download them to grab the highest resolution image they have (which is usually the original). Knowing the size of the image and what you plan on using it for will help you determine whether it will work for print or not.

This sounds all too familiar.
OK, here is the mother load of all jackpots. This is where I found many of my favorite textures. Keep in mind you'll have to dig through pages and pages, but I promise you'll find some great stuff.

WOW!!!! I guess I can no longer say I never win anything.
Thank you for the opportunity and for sharing what you've done. It really gave me some ideas as well.
If I get to choose which one I want, I'd really like #6.
