Is Joker still the preferred domain host?

My custom domain host is called Joker. They allow me to have jimwhitakerphotography instead of jimwhitaker.smugmug. If I recall, I used them a few years ago because they were recommended by Smugmug. In fact, I think I simply followed a link from Smugmug to them at the time. (Not sure though)
I have just received notice from Joker that it’s almost renewal time. Is Joker still the recommended special domain name host, or is there someone new that Smugmug prefers now? Does it even matter?

I think SM now recommends Go Daddy. I think Go Daddy sucks, but I've got more demanding hosting requirements.

But you said it best--it really doesn't matter. If it's working, don't change it, just renew and go on your merry way. :ivar
