Caught at a park here in Arizona. I am fairly new to photography, at the moment I take my camera anywhere and have fun. I haven't found where exactly I would like to focus my photography. C&C welcome, anything to help. Minimal post processing. :D

You did a fine job on the exposure, you have a terrific background, and an interesting subject. My only problem with the image is the comp. Your subject is heading towards the lower right hand corner of the frame and that's just about where you have it. I would have placed the subject in the upper left and give it some room to travel.

Thanks, I see what you are saying about the composition. I'll have to keep that in mind a little more. :D

This is such a good capture you may want to consider adding canvas to frame right and reprocessing the image.

You might also consider posting with a max long-side of

I need to rework the framing and canvas sizing (like you said). Do you feel the entire image needs to be reprocessed in a different manner or did you mean resubmitting it with the new frame?

This answers one of my questions which was "best sizing for posting on the forums". I was working on a 27" iMac at home so for me it looked small. Will do though, thanks! <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/thumb.gif" border="0" alt="" >

There are a couple of ways too "add canvas" to an image in your processing

Ok, what about now? I gave the little guy some more room. I really like it now.

That's an improvement but I would go further. Here's a quick down and dirty re-edit. I'm far from happy with the water but I only spent 5 minutes on it. This is what you want to heads towards compositionally.
