Multi-image collages

Looking for feedback on these multi-image collages. The plan is to allow racers to choose the main image, I then locate 2 to 5 more of that car, arrange around the main image in some pleasing manner, and add up to two lines of custom text of their choosing.

Nice, very clean look. The smaller pics might be a little bigger, but that really depends on the final print size.

    Bill,

I think the smaller images may be a bit too small. My thought is a viewer shouldn't have to change viewing distances. So I'd try a few test prints at the intended size and see if you feel the inset images are viewable from the same distances you'd typically view the print in question.

Good point and I'll try larger inset images and make some test prints. My fear was the inset pictures crowding out the main pic.

I love em, especially the Corvette. I agree, the size of the thumbnails needs to be a bit larger. My other opinion to offer as a fellow BMW owner is to put the BMW M logo in front of M Power. The M power looks boring to me. Throwing this logo in front of it should liven it up a bit. Here is an example of the logo:

Thanks everyone. The consensus here and at APN is the insets need to be larger. :) I tend to agree. One suggestion was to take the Corvette images and run side-by-side, touching in one long strip. Might play around with that. Could do the same with the trio in the BMW poster.

I agree "M Power" looks a bit boring as well. I need to step up my game with fonts and font selections for sure. I was also thinking of "The Ultimate Track Machine". :D

Thanks to some feedback, four variations on the above:

I like the spacing of the first and the sizes of the second set. The last poster is nice too--only comment would be to rotate the "Polaroids" to give them a bit of interest.

I still like #2 the best. I think what sets it apart more is that in that picture you didn't put your text right on the picture. It's in it's own box and it just looks more professional.

I agree. But I think the smaller images need to have a border in the 2nd vette poster, maybe the color of the car??? The use of a real badge or logo would make the whole thing look more pro.

    cheers, Scott
