These guys are small but mighty. They protect their territory with a vengance.

Thanks for looking, this is a black chinned hummer. He had a brilliant purple gorget in the sunlight!

    I agree about these lil dudes being territorial :uhoh I see hummer "dogfights" daily around my feeder. They are really tough for their size. I've seen them drive off crows and jays from their nesting areas too. No bite, a nice little musical bark and a pitbull mentality :lol

    I wish some different ones would come around here. Only getting ruby's.
