Uploading mov. to smugmug

Have been trying to upload a relatively small mov. clip to my smugmug with no luck whatsoever. Was hoping I wouldn't have to convert it first, before uploading it... Does anyone else have problems with mov. files?

Hi Sarah,

MOV files are usually acceptable, but see here:

The MOV format may contain a codec that we don't support, which could be causing the uploading trouble.

This is what I recommend for converting the video files, it's super easy:

You just open the file you want to convert, and then click File > Export to MPEG-4.

If you continue to have trouble, could you email our Heroes and give us a link to your site? You can check in the Control Panel > Stats tab > view upload log, to see what's going on there.
