Can a lens be repaired to focus properly? I have an older Sigma 28-200mm zoom that focuses off the focus point and was wondering if it's worth getting looked at.
Most lenses can be repaired or adjusted. Since you can purchase another used copy of that lens at KEH for $65-$76USD in EX condition you may not want to spend too much to try to get your copy repaired/adjusted.
I would contact Sigma and see if they will give you an estimate, although they may require you to send in the lens for the estimate.
