I have already two private galleries, password-ptotected without any problem and working fine. Yesterday a made a third one which was working fine. Now, a couple of hours later, the protection isn't working all of a sudden anymore: the photos are showing and, when clicking the gallery there isn't a demand for a password anymore whilst password is showing in "settings".
Any ideas??

Once you've entered the password, Smugmug remembers that you've entered that password and it won't require it the next time you go to a gallery that has the same password (for some period of time).

Try running a different browser or clearing your cookies and then it will prompt you again.

    Jfriend:
Is there any way we can prevent this with out cleaning the cookies maually. I gave the password to a client and he used it on his work computer (or any non personal computer), he complained that he cannot log out or his password is saved in that computer and not prompting anymore. Is there any script that I can use where it does not store the password and prompts everytime? Thank you!

I don't know of anything you, the site owner, can do. When he entered the password, he could have checked the checkbox right under the password so the password would not be remembered. Now, he can clear his own cookies and the login will go away.

Did you close all browser windows after you were done? How much time passed before the next user tried?

I actually did! I tried right away as I was testing it. I also tried with IE private mode. Is their a scrpt that can be written and paste as a button to the web page so the user can push it and it can delete the cookies or session's browser history given by a warning. I guess that can be a good idea!

I'm looking for a code which check the check code by default, to not remember the password by default! The most of my clients are signing on on a public computer... Do you have any issue ?

    Thanks a lot

PS: I'm sorry if I'm making mistakes, I don't have a really improved english...
