Collected photo ignores new gallery settings

When I moved (collected) a photo from a protected gallery and moved it to a non protected it keeps its protection

is that normal?:scratch - I assume a bug?

Can it be changed?

Not a bug, it's by design. Collected photos obey the settings from their original gallery. In this case, your original gallery has protection on.

We think alike. I'd love a Smart Gallery option like "Enable/disable inheritance from original gallery's settings".

I found that if you switch the virtual gallery settings to square and the original gallery was "original"

it will change to square -- but will change those photos only to square in the original gallery too.
