Tripod: Ball head, Three way combo

I've looked @ the review section, and googled around a bit looking for this answer.. no dice.
So my thought is this: In looking for a new tripod, I'm interested in the precision of the three way system, but also enjoy the ballhead I have now in that it is very easy to quickly compose your initial shot. I'm wondering if there is a tripod head out there that has both. This could be accomplished by having a ballhead underneath the threeway system where you could have the ballhead locked if you want to use the threeway, but could use the ballhead to set up a quick shot and leave the threeway alone...
maybe that would be too big/bulky... but has anyone seen a tripod head like this?
thanks,
Erik

Still curious if anyone has further suggestions, but I'll probably be getting a head similar to the one above.

I use a Giottos MH-1300 ball head with the 657 Arca Compatible quick release system and I am quite happy with it. It is not inexpensive but, it is less expensive than many other quality heads.
