Liz's "Buick" photograph, and the discussion of how
to treat the photo, made me think about how each of us
tends to gravitate towards certain types of subjects.
Liz has "antiqued" a vintage auto, Tom (Black Mamba)
goes for the exotic beauties at Concours d'Elegance shows,
and Azzaro never seems to run out of rusting hulks out in the field to photograph.

I head for the salvage yards and look for the rusty dusties like this:

These are both great, I particularly like the last, but then again I really like the 1st.headscratch.gif Anyway ... great eye seeing both of these.

The first one seems a bit too dark, I think a little more light on the interior would be good. There's usually some wonderful style and details on the dashboards of the old cars. The second shot works for me at least in part because I got an Evans bike for Christmas when I was about 9 years old and have not seen one in about 45 years. Brought back nice memories. thumb.gif

    Hey Tony,

There's certainly room for every approach with a subject as varied as cars. That second shot is really special. I love the bike/car combo....very imaginative. Cars and rust....sensory overload for me. Great job.

    Hi Tony,
I agree about the second shot--
For me, it's not so much the rust--it's that whimsical little horn on the bike--love it.
