(*) cheated a little on this one. It was farther away than usual, at 400mm plus a small crop. I took the diffuser off and the flash reached, but I got red eye! Had to fix it in PP. Normally I wouldn't post red-eye retouched images but this bird is tough to find in the open and with his eyes open at all. When I see him is generally asleep.

5. Mandarin duck

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks Harry, I am enjoying it and re-discovering all my lenses.

You seem to be the only one (almost) to comment on my shots here. I never get more than one or two comments and often zip for some reason. Oh well.

Except for a few "regulars" that seems to be the trend around here lately.

I see a good number of folks posting images but I don't see them commenting on the images others post. :bash

My only suggestion is to keep on posting and commenting on the images others post.
