My kids are little and just started wrestling this year also. These pictures make me afraid of what is to come.

I love #3 - it would have been nice to turn the camera to get a portrait angle but it is so hard when things are happening fast. I love the face of the guy in red in #4, actually both of their faces and all of their limbs are in this shot. But I think the last one is my favorite - what a great capture!

I love looking at wrestling shots, it helps me to think about how I'm going to frame my shots.

Honestly, what I'm finding in shooting these kinds of shots is, you just point, frame them in the center and shoot. Not the same as other kinds of photography. You don't usually have time to do anything terribly creative. Unfortunately, it builds bad habits...

Once you know what to look for when they are wrestling you can plan it out alot better than just point and shoot. If they are on the mat you can get close ups of the face. If they come up and ones behind he might throw so you open it up. and head to head shot you might get a close up of one of them shooting.. So there are many ways to shoot it.
