New models

I was inspired by the story of Baxter Boxboard so I found a few models of my own. Besides the kids don't sit still long enough for me to play with lighting. My new models arrived yesterday and I did a very quick little introduction set for one of my models.

Just a teaser of my first guy to try to get some interest :)

    This is Mr. Blue (for obvious reasons).

    This was a super quick and dirty setup using the floor and two pieces of 8.5 x 11 computer paper.

    Canon 430 EX flash just out of frame above and behind Blue, an OLD flash with no manual controls (about half power compared to 430 EX) about 4 feet from blue and obviously to camera left. Both fired via E-bay triggers.
    I think I will have loads of fun with these guys when the rest of my stuff arrives.

    Well this is the last Pozie and he is a slippery little fellow. He actually escaped my high security Pozie detention center and made it to the backyard before I caught him.

    He was pretty smug and confident when I first saw him outside.

    When he saw me coming he went up. After this quick snap I had to put down the camera and catch him before he got away completely. He is safely locked up again, but in solitary confinement. He dosen't play well with others....

    Lost a pair of my Pozies the other day, coincidently misplaced a bottle of whiskey as well... Found them today though.

    My sister in law is getting into modelling. Been doing TF whatever shoots and the odd paid shoot as well. Problem is these local freelance photographers have not been the highest caliber, like myself :) So she wanted some better photos for her model mayhem page as well as her facebook page. So I obliged.

    At the end of my little shoot It was discovered that Mr. Green had been hiding in my camera bag, and I guess he liked what he saw.
