WP-Smugmug doesn't show recent galleries pictures

I am using wp-smugmug to display pictures on my wordpress using feeds url. Pictures are displayed correctly if I use RSS of an album, but not when I use the "recent galleries" url. Why is that? All the albums that are unlisted have "external links" enabled. I have looked around in the forum but to no avail.

If I paste the recent galleries url on Firefox, the pictures are displayed, they are the first pictures (cover) of every album.

    It might have to do with some of the photos I checked with "hide photo" option. Don't understand why.

    Btw, if I check "hide photo", I cannot view it even if I access it by the image URL. I was hoping it would hide the photo on the gallery, but allow to be seen if it was accessed with a URL. Can someone please confirm?

    Any luck with this by chance? I am considering moving my blog from the wp.com to wp.org method instead. The full version of wordpress has much more capability and I would love to have a slide show or filmstrip with my 'recent' photos showing on my blog.

    Do you know if the wp-smugmug widget works in the sidebar?

    Ok, so I answered part of my own question...

    This one works in the sidebar with WP.org

    This one does not...

    There appears to be a workaround with the Flickr wiget for WP.com blogs, just enter the smugmug RSS feed into the Flickr feed instead.
