My wife and I went to Vancouver for our anniversary last weekend.

Beautiful views from Stanley Park

We made an anniversary totem.

Someone bought this building. Didn't buy much, did they?

The Icehouse Bewery. Yum. Great beer made on premises.

Grouse Mountain. (I left my ISO on 800 from the night before by mistake. Grrrrr.)

Tip: Vancouver has a very nice hotel right in the US departures terminal of the airport. Great for those mornings that you have to check in at 5am.

First of all, David, happy anniversary! It looks like you've had a whale of a time, and indeed did enjoy that wide angle a lot. Great shots, and thanks for sharing those.

    Thanks, all.

Yeah, had a lot of fun with the 10-22.

The most surprising thing about the hotel in the airport was it was really nice. And so awesome to have freshly made croissants and muffins before taking off. I mean, they were fresh out of the oven, made on premises good.

Oh, and I didn't mention (or get a picture) that Edgar Winter was just ahead of us in the customs line on our return. He's hard to miss!

Happy Anniverary, I like the bridge do you know who designed it, parts are very similar to a bridge that crosses into Wales it has the same Lions at each end of the bridge . Vancouver looks greatthumb.gif
