Where to shoot within 200 miles of Vegas

I'll be visiting Las Vegas at the end of the month, and I'm hoping to take a little road trip from there to somewhere that I can get some great sunrise/sunset/landscape shots. My first thought was Zion National Park in Utah, but I just thought I'd throw it out there to see if anyone has a favorite place in that area they'd like to share.

The ideal would be somewhere I could camp for 1-2 nights. I know there's plenty of beautiful stuff around there to see, so lay it on me! Feel free to post a few of your own shots if you have them . . . .:D

Red Rock Canyon just to the west of Vegas - http://www.redrockcanyonlv.org/.

Valley of Fire State Park to the east - http://parks.nv.gov/vf.htm.

Already mentioned, Death Valley and Zion are both favorites of mine.

you should keep your eyes on the wildflower bloom status in Death Valley. If you're willing to go that far, it might be worth it... they got a TON of rain this winter.

The wife and hit the ground in Vegas, grabbed a car and headed to the Grand Canyon, couple quick shots as we crossed the dam, checked the canyon(Indian Reservation), pics at sunset, back to Boulder City, night shots at the dam. Stayed in Boulder City, hit the dam again in the morning for some sunrise shots. Drove up to Zion, spent the day till dark. Drove to Bryce, spent day and a half at Bryce. Shots of Red Rock and others on the way back through Zion and back to Vegas. Great trip

Wow, thanks for all the suggestions everyone. I apparently forgot to "subscribe" to this thread when I posted it, so I didn't realize that anyone had responded!

    I appreciate it!
