    Ron, you got some incredible photos at Crater Lake!!!! I really would be hard pressed to pick any favorites out of the ones that you have shown here and the other day. They are all incredible!!
    My 2 favorite times of the day are sunrise and sunset and you have done a superb job here with sunrise!!

    Thanks! It's definitely more photogenic in the winter, but more accessible in the summer.

    Thanks Ron, all I had to do was point the camera and make sure the lens cap was off, the scenery took care of the rest :D

    Fantastic shots, I have never been there in the winter but after seeing these I should look into making the trip. Is the hotel open in the winter?

    Nope, Crater Lake Lodge is closed in the winter, I just slept in the car for a few hours.
