Some two weeks ago I dropped my S90 4' to a concrete floor (Ouch)!

Took it back to Samys hoping for the best but of course expecting the worst.
Service department said looked like impact damage and they'd send it to Canon
to see what the estimate will be.

Got a call from them on Wednesday and spoke to Howard in the Service Dept. said
good news Canon repaired camera no charge and it's good as new. Just pay $17.50 for
shipping and were square.

When I arrived at Samys Howard got my camera and we gave it a once over. Howard said,
hey I see you just bought this camera not long ago, ah what the heck sign this and Happy Shooting!!

Thanks Howard and Canon Waranty :thumb

Thanks indeed. Very nice how things worked out for ya. That would
be plenty enough to keep Sammy near the top of the "Top Dog List".
    Canon Too. :D

I got a great laugh from your "Am I being followed" shot. Sweet
shot for telling that story. Maybe a little bit too much far right in
    frame... but whatever. thumb.gif

    They are indeed :D
Laugh very good, thanks and I figured a lot of black space would give it that
    ominous look mwink.gif

Right. :D The black space definitely accomplished its job.
The ominous aspect came across clearly.
I recently put up a shot that used a bunch of black too. Practically
to much. But it worked in its way for what it was also.

Wow ... a happy Samys story ... usually all I get is grief from Samys. (I guess it is actually more of a happy Canon Service Center story.)

Was Dennis Weaver driving your car?

Yep been there too. Makes a good exp. with them even sweeter :D

Dennis Weaver, na tame by today's standards, more like Rob Zombie.
