I love this time of year because my morning commute coincides with sunrise.

    Nice work Allan.
    As they are I prefer #1, nice colours and the slight mist on the rhs.
    In #2 I find the trees in the foreground where the sun hits them distracting. They pull my eye from the more interesting mid & background. You might consider darkening them somewhat so that they don't form a barrier to the rest of the image. You might also consider cloning out the branches on the rhs.

    I actually worked to keep some detail in the foreground.

    I really love this time of year the trees are budding and the sunrises and sunsets can be lovely.
