These beautiful birds visit each fall and spring as they go to and from the arctic. I have a really hard time getting photographs of them as they are usually skittish. Yesterday, I think they had had too much fermented fruit, as they didn't mind me getting up close and personal.

I usually get them every year in the neighbors persimmon tree. This year a mockingbird staked out the tree and did not let any other share.

Hi Ann,Love the shots my favorite is #3 I guess because the eye is PERFECT. I was out shooting these just today we normally get cedars out here so it was a surprise to see bohemians here. I like both but find the heads softer on the bohem's and more difficult to get a perfect focus. #4 has a spectacular back end too.clap
