Early Spider

Here is the first spider I have managed to to get shots of in the garden this year.

I think it is quite young, at only ¼ inch long, it certainly wasn't easy to get.

I have another couple of shots, one not so good, one reasonable, other than this one.

I used all 3 tubes to get this one so close, the 13mm, 21, and 31mm in combination on the Sigma 105.

Good one paul - thought it was going to be a Wolf spider- been seeing these the last few days in my garden but looks like an orbweb spider.

Yeah, I think the orb, but it's body was very flat and not at all rounded like I usually see them.

Well I was going suggest it's possibly Araniella sp. I think there are some reddish ones rather than the normal green one.
