Star Trails from the Scotland trip

Just following on from my Loch Lomond shot, Here's a few Star Trail shots. My first attempt at these but I'm quite pleased with the results. :)

All shot at F8, 10mm and different exposure lengths.

    For my own edification, did you use any filter? I never tried this kind of very long exposure before, but I would have thought it would bring more details in the trees, for example.

    Niepice, no filters were used for this shot. Simply the camera pointed up towards the trees and sky.

    I would imagine there are a few "creative" filters that could be used. Maybe IR's (Although not sure if it would work) and colour filters but most star trails I've seen are generally unaltered camera states. :)
