Events & Favorites - Pro only ?

I've been looking at this new feature - one of the things I've been looking forward to (along with multi-currency/self-fulfilment/European lab).

However, as far as I can tell - it's for Pro subscribers only.

Does that mean there is no way for non-Pro's to enable favourite selection ?
Answers to previous questions/comments on this forum indicated that something like this would be on the way (following virtual galleries), but not as a Pro-only option.

Hello Frank - yes, this is a Pro-only feature on SmuMug.

    Hi Andy,

thanks for the reply (on Sunday as well).

I am a bit disappointed by this. I would love to sign up for Pro-Level and sell stuff - but it's not really suitable for non-US sales (as discussed before :D ) so I would find it hard to justify just to get favo(u)rites.

Yep, I do pay for Pro but disable sales on almost all of my new galleries because my customers just don't understand why my photo host forces all customers worldwide to use $USD.

    I don't understand it either.

It's amazingly frustrating. Honestly SM should charge less for overseas Pros since it's such a massive amount less functional.

    Cheers - N

You've reminded me enough that I hope to be able to change this situation!

Oh Andy, if you're just teasing me then I don't know what I'll do :-)

And I loved your first reply (You know, the one that's emailed to people subscribed to the thread before you edited it :-)

(Note to others : the sentiment wasn't changed at all, just slightly more interesting :-)

    Cheers, a breathless, Neil G
