Abandonment in sepia

Went hiking yesterday and found this at the top of Mt. Kearsarge in NH.

the light was pretty harsh up there, but I went to the foot deep hole in the snow where I guess other photographers stood and took this anyway. After a bit of cropping I decided to give the sepia treatment a go. Added some grain and a slight vignette and here it is. I rather like it. No idea what it was used for back in the day...it was next to an enormous cell/radio tower. I just love the sliver of door hanging from one hinge hanging by one screw and how the snow inside reflects light up onto the wall.

    I love the shot!!

Sepia always works on things like this or BW.
Photography teaches us to observe again. Me.
I am in AZ and would love to meet others from Phoenix.

Looks like an old shed or a nice outhouse. Works good in sepia. Did you try it in BW?

That was my first conversion, but it seemed jarring for some reason. Disharmonious. So I went sepia instead.

And it could only have been an outhouse for little people...it came up not much higher than my waist. I think it housed some kind of generator or something.
