Question about manual flash and off-camera Cn settings

Canon gear. Let's say I am firing a master 580EXII (on camera) and slave 580EXII (off camera), and both are set to manual. Do the off-camera flash Cn settings on the camera still have any effect on either flash?

Thanks!

Not really sure what you mean by "off-camera flash Cn settings". You can use your camera to set up the flash's Cn settings on a flash that's attached to your camera. It won't set the Cn settings on the remote flash though. You'd have to physically attach it to your camera to work.

The remote flash settings still influence it. Even the Cn settings.

Yes, Jim, exactly! I went earlier to look on the camera, but the flash needs to be on camera before I can get that info, and at the moment it is packed in the bag!eek7.gif

    asap!
