Hi All,
I am on the verge of buying a laptop so I can preview images during shoots, and I will also use it when I am out on location to edit and sort images. My main thing is that a lot of times this is outdoors and I hate those glossy screens because of the amout of glare they produce.
Here is the question, I am undecided between:
Dell Sudio XPS 16 which has the following screen:
Edge-to-Edge HD+ Widescreen 15.6 inch WLED LCD (1600x900) W/2.0 MP
or
Dell Studio 17 which has the following screen:
17.3” HD+ (900p) Bright LED Display with TrueLife™ and Camera
Given here is the order of importance:
#1 Display (ideally must be non glossy)
#2 Performance (needs to be able to open 21MP images quickly and not crash when using Lightroom and Photoshop 4)
Don;t want to spend more than $1500 hence I am looking at the dells, otherwise I read somewhere that the Lenuovo has a better screen, anyone know how the Lenuovo screen compares to the dell laptop screens??
Thanks so much!!

This is mine...no longer available unless you can find it used. Glad I have it.
The XPS 16 looks like a good choice configured properly.
