    Hey Mike,

This is pretty impressive work. I'm curious about photo #1. It's obviously a panned shot but there's something unique about it, at least to my eyes. Parts of the car to the front, below, and rear of the driver are slightly blurred, yet his face seems much sharper in focus. Is that just an effect I'm perceiving that's not really there, or did you somehow selectively sharpen his face? I can't imagine that the chosen F-stop would have been the causative agent here because the whole car is pretty much on the same plane relative to your position.

Thanks for sharing your visions with us.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Hi Tom, This was shot with a 17-55mm 2.8 lens at 1600iso. I was probably 15 feet away and just followed him as he passed. I did sharpen the image but It was just luck. I was very happy when I got home and noticed his head in focus.

There is some unquestionably wonderful stuff here - particularly 1, 12, and 13. But there are many others that I'm just not sure about because I don't know if I'm looking at street photography or home Photoshopping. I find myself not trusting 2 and 4, because I don't know if the mist/steam is real, or PS generated.

I may be the only person who feels this way, but I'd love you to post some of the stuff with minimal PP so we can really see what you're seeing before you get home. mwink.gif

Wonderful series! I just love #13--right place, right time and you've definitely got a winning image, IMO. I really like your B&W treatment too--it adds to the grittiness of the street.

    Nice work.

These aren't cropped, they are just jpegs of my camera's RAW images, Nothing was adjusted.

Heh, yeah I figured that, but I didn't really knew how to say "lack of crop wise" without sounding like an idiot :D I think I prefer the original over the cropped I think, especially on the first of the two thumb.gif
