Backlit, under-exposed, and I was new enough with the camera that I had no concept of opening up the aperture to isolate my subject. But despite all the criticisms that occur to me when I look back at this image, I can't help but love the feel it gives for this little one's perspective, down amongst the legs of the big people.

I like it. It does give the sense that she is small and the expression on her face is a bit uncertain. That just about sums up being a little guy in a big person's world.

I love photos where the rules are broken, you always hear people say get down on a child's level but other angles can be interesting also.
