Pentax and MF?

I am highly curious and very interested. SInce I don't have a spare 30k to spend, 9k sounds much better to start with MF.

    Compared to the Mamiya DM40, also a 40MPix medium format camera, the Pentax is quite the steal (at least by simple specs).

    They have it listed at 9,400, while a little bit more you are getting down into the high MP Nikon/Canon cameras there.

    Yeah but if you wanted to get into MF cameras, this would definitely be a great start since you aren't paying huge sum of money. Even though $9000 is out of range for me personally, it is a lot more reachable than a hassleblad or mamiya.

    Quite a few Pentax 645 lenses floating around, I'd say they just went up in value. Nice to see a compelling, mainstream offering, though I doubt any shop will stock them.

    Oh look, the K7 is less than a grand already. :uhoh
