watermark won't align properly

I just upgraded to smugmug pro so I could take advantage of the built in watermarking.

I followed the smugmug watermarking guide here and created a 1600x200 canvas with 24 point font.

When I upload the image to smugmug, set it as a watermark, and select bottom right alignment, it stays in the bottom center and moves to the right very slightly. It still looks centered.

I've played with different font sizes and a smaller canvas but can't get it to work.

I'd like the watermark lower and to the far right.

Could someone please point me in the right direction?

When you create your image that you want for your watermark make sure that their is minimum empty space around the text. It appears that you might have a large amount of margin space on the image you uploaded.
