Very cool ice formations

At the bottom of a tall watefall, the spray creates these gorgeous ice formations. Luckily the sun sliced right up the ravine and lit these babies. You can see the water droplets splashing around, too.





I went back today to try to get the whole rocky ravine with flatter lighting and these are almost all melted away. Such transient beauty - I was lucky I got the chance to see and photograph them.
