Surfing contest with no surf

Today was the Ozone Classic Surfing Contest on Nantucket. Plenty of surfers, but the ocen was like glass in the am. So there was a paddling race:

    Don't ya just hate it when there's a surf contest and the waves don't cooperate? We see it out here quite a bit too. On the other hand, we also have contests that are unannounced until they know the surf is "up". Makes it sort of tough to plan a shoot....lol
