May have to do a little wedding shooting in the rain tomorrow. Anyone have some tips/suggestions?

I have three different colored umbrellas that I bring when it looks like it might rain, one is black, one is white and the other is red. I bring them along to every wedding in case of rain. You can get creative if the bride is Ok with the bottom of her dress getting a bit wet... it usually allows for some really nice shots, some even being client favorites.

    Good luck...rain sucks!

I'm also expecting rain tomorrow for my wedding shoot. (although it's mostly indoors) I agree with the umbrella thing, as they make for great visual treats.

I anxiously await any rainy wedding advice to follow.
In the meantime, I like to Google "Rainy wedding" images. Good stuff comes up.

Have enough assistants (one to assist you, plus one for each umbrella)

    Good luck!

    Ours too
Good luck tomorrow everyone, we just got back from rehearsal and it's raining right now. Tomorrows wedding for us is outdoor so we are off to buy some umbrellas, great idea. At least the reception will be inside

So, how'd it go? I am sure you are busy processing all your images, but when you get some time you should post up a few of the shots, I for one, would love to see them.

I'll see if I can post any. I did this as a sub contract for another company.
