    Did they ever completely work out the kinks with Canon? I never can seem to get a straight answer on that one.

    kinda. You have to enclose the 580EXII with a hard RF shield. To existing customers they sent a soft shield (a bag). I think Randy Wells was kinda upset about the whole thing.
