I was hoping for the 3 headed fire breathing variety. : Nice shots. Like the color, sharpness of those. I've not nailed (or seen) a dragonfly yet. Someday soon..perhaps?

I did not see in your profile what camera you are shooting with, Allen.
Are you using a P&S or a DSLR? The background could be more blurred if shot at a wider aperature if you are using a DSLR. WIth a P&S, it will be harder to blur the background more due to the greater DOF of the smaller lenses and sensors.
