Love it Dan. I am so looking forward to getting to the desert this month. Hopefully the god will be kind and provide some of his good work for me to document.
Looks like the Ocotillo has had good moisture over the winter. Like the way the green leaves are lighted up.

Thanks Deb. It won't be long now before you have good weather, or you could just move to Tucson.:D

Thanks Chris. Lots of rain has left the desert very lush. Should be an excellent spring bloom.thumb.gif

Beautiful capture, and what an expansive dynamic range! Single exposure?

Thanks J. I believe I combined 5 exposures for this shot.

    Dan,

Really nice capture! I love the desert and especially the ocotillo on the right. One nit though...there is some haloing around the hills on the right side of the frame and a little around the ocotillo too. Other than that, great scenethumb.gif

Sweet capture, Dan. I love the way that one ray from the sun star is kissing and backlighting that larger saguaro in the foreground. thumb.gif You have a lot of interesting elements in this shot. Maybe a little heavy in the processing as I'm seeing some halos as well.

    Cheers,

I think you caught the colors very well! It looks so serene and I can smell the desert. No poppies yet? Any snakes?:D

OK, I've posted a reprocessed version at the beginning of this thread. Which do you prefer?

    Thanks,

    Dan
