snow-bound
Wow this is nice. What an amazing place to hike.I am sitting in snow still waiting, your comp is wonderful. The balance of the photo and that light on front cactus is GREATthumb
Love it Dan. I am so looking forward to getting to the desert this month. Hopefully the god will be kind and provide some of his good work for me to document.
Looks like the Ocotillo has had good moisture over the winter. Like the way the green leaves are lighted up.

Thanks Deb. It won't be long now before you have good weather, or you could just move to Tucson.:D

Thanks Chris. Lots of rain has left the desert very lush. Should be an excellent spring bloom.

Really nice capture! I love the desert and especially the ocotillo on the right. One nit though...there is some haloing around the hills on the right side of the frame and a little around the ocotillo too. Other than that, great scene
Sweet capture, Dan. I love the way that one ray from the sun star is kissing and backlighting that larger saguaro in the foreground. You have a lot of interesting elements in this shot. Maybe a little heavy in the processing as I'm seeing some halos as well.
