Shouldas

I've just been going through today's photos. Mostly "shouldas"...I shoulda shot wider, I shoulda shot closer, I shoulda noticed that distraction in the background, I shoulda waited for a better shot, I shoulda positioned myself differently, I shoulda taken that shot I missed...and so on.

The first view of today's take is the worst part of photography. All those great shots that I thought I took are "shouldas".

    Tony,

I moved this post to The Big Picture because I'm sure it's not only street shooters who have this experience. I think it applies to all of us.

    Tony,
I hear what you are saying.
I have a shot I missed that would have been my best steet shot to date, if I had taken it:( It still burns like you wouldn't believe. I kick myself to this day--glad I'm not alone.

Also when I see things on my screen, the shouldas start--"I should have moved to the side, I should not have moved back".

    Don't get me started.

A daily occurrence for me including "I shoulda not posted that photo". As a friend once told me "don't should on yourself". mwink.gif

    ... I'm still peeling potatoes.
