Wonders in the woodpile

Found these on some wet firewood I brought in to dry. Gave them a reprieve long enough to photograph them. Natural light and a piece of paper as a reflector when needed. Manual Olympus 90mm f2 macro lens on the E-30 body. Having a ton of fun with the zoom feature in Live View.

Each of these little clusters is about 1/2 inch wide -


This one is on the same log and is about 3/4 of an inch wide -
