Fly - a fraction of a second before take-off!

Believe me - this fly was in the process of leaving the twig on which it was standing - and I think you can see this by the rear legs having already lifted from the wood - as flies take off backwards, so I assume the back legs are probably the first things to move.

Taken tonight on the Sigma 105 with all 3 extension tubes attached lit by the ring flash.
