These are phenominal portraits! I love the way you captured the years of humanity in their faces. The lady's blue eyes tell a story in themselves. A+ work!

    Welcome back!

All of these are spectacular. The subject and lighting in the last make it
    especially beautiful.

    Thanks for sharing!

Welcome back and great to see your works.

    These are excellent portraits.

I love the graniness in the first, the lighting in the second, the composition in the third, and everything in the fourth.

Good to see your portraits againclap.gif. The woman is definitely my favorite, but the first one is quite impactfull.

I'm not sure what you mean by "silvery paper", but I have tried a metallic paper. I've used it with bright color shots, or shots that accent the colors, never a portrait. Then again, I would have to shoot a worth portrait first. Are you using this silvery paper for portraits of other shots?

    Thanks for sharing,
    Chris

    Spasibo, Chris!
Yes, its called 'metallic'. I used it (by chance) for these portraits of an old man and must say I was surprised bythe result - second and 3-d photos in my post were wonderful! Play of colors in the 2d and cold silver in the 3d b&w photo !
I also liked the results with landscapes taken at sunset (gold sun light).
    Again spasibo,
    Yuri

Nice to see you back Yuri. I'd been wondering where you'd disappeared to.

As usual a great series, but I really like the picture of the old woman.

The sepia tones and the grain on the first one really make the picture. Who cares that the eyes are not really there. The wrinkles and the profile tell his story just fine. Wonderful work on all of them but that first one is my favorite. It has a power to it- a wisdom. Thanks Yuri.
