Couldn't you have picked "dry" last month, it would have been easy. We were over 9" short on rain last month. Everything was brown, creeks had dried up, waterfalls no longer fell. The only good thing about it was the lack of mosquitoes.

Dry.....Nevada.....Desert.....Hmmm, might have to do a pano or other landscape for this one. Too bad this isn't in September; a burning man pano would be most appropriate.

Just a note: I voted for sticky, it could be lots of fun.

I don't know of anything that is dry, not a dry eye, not a dry skin, etc.....

ginger (warm, muggy, SC, the tide does go out, but not very photogenic.......)???
After all is said and done, it is the sweet tea.

Every time I hear the word dry, I remember an old Johnny Carson joke.
"The wine was so dry, (how dry was it) it was so dry they found dust in
the urinals." Thank you very much, I'll be here all week.:D

What a great idea. If you don't use it, I just might. That joke opened up a lot of ideasclap.gif.

    Thanks for the post,

You use the idea. For some reason I don't want to go into the men's room
    with a camera. :D

Go for it. The joke is not literally what I'm going to do. No urinals involved for my shot. Curious now what you are thinking.

Ah, come on, give a chance.
Luckily it was empty when I got this shot. You just never know where inspiration will strike you...
