Altitude in EXIF, but now showing in "Edit geography"

MY site is tanveer.smugmug.com
I have uploaded pics which have latitude/longitude and altitude in EXIF.
when I download original, I can see altitude/latitude/longitude in the EXIF, but when I do edit geography, I just see lat and lon with altitude empty. Am I doing something wrong?

If you download original, you will see that the EXIF does have altitude information.

I am trying it, but I still do not see altitude in Edit Geography.
I used gpicsync for putting in gps info
However when I download original, I see this

you're going to have to post some links to the images that are failing, so that I can take a look.

I should also mention, that the info is only imported when the image is initially uploaded.

Is this the originally uploaded image ? or did you reupload ?

Metadata extraction only occurs when you initially upload the image, so the altitude will not appear, you will need to reupload the images to get the altitude to show up correctly.

This is the originally uploaded image.
So effectively, images which were uploaded earlier(before bug fix) will not show altitude, but any further images which I upload will get altitude info?
In that case... Its cool
