Draping your backgrounds

I've seen many photos where photographers drape their backgrounds and splash light on it to make the subject stand out more. I'm just curious to the best method of draping. I've made weird attempts in doing so, but I either run out of material or I wind up doing it wrong. Can someone help or point me in the right direction?

Google "photo backdrops" and you're going to get a flood of info on suppliers and accessories needed...or at the very least get some really good ideas on making your own. thumb.gif
