Nice shot. How do you think it would look if you lessened the clarity of the barn?

Cool.....I feel the loneliness and the cold :D

Winter photos look good done this way. I've done a few and have been really happy with them. There are a lot of people out there that haven't experienced the barren bitterness of winter -- this shows the feeling one can feel out there all alone. Good job thumb.gif

Hi Chris... I think you make a good point. Fog makes everything else invisible here, but it is not visible itself :) Thanks for your comment.

Hi Mary... Yes, I agree, only people who live through winters such as ours know exactly how it feels. It's not always easy to communicate that feeling with photos, though... Thanks for your kind feedback as usual :)

Nice one. There is a lot for me to like about this high key image.
But, if I may be so bold as to say, I just get this feeling it needs to be a little finer tuned is all. :D

Good concept. I think a shot that was closer would have looked really cool.

Haha, nothing bold about that! I assume you're referring to the post-processing work. My post-processing skills are limited to say the least :D Thanks for the feedback, DaddyO!

Thank you. rookieshooter. The goal of this one was to convey isolation, so I needed some context around the barn. Still, I can see your point.

    clap.gif Love it.
Don't see fog, but the shot is awesome.
The processing reminds me of Mary Kim's "wound up tight". Both minimalism at their best.

I am all about the processing and I like a heavy hand, but it's shots like this that make me re-think that.

rolleyes1.gifYa, loudly bold. :D About as far as I want to be bold in comment
    lately.
Yes, the PP work. Understand the thing about skills. Mine only go so far
    also.

Thank you, Liz :) I think I know what photo of Mary Kim's are you referring to. I think that one was even more minimalistic that this one. And I am all for light-handed processing (likely because I don't know how to process :D)

Nothing wrong with that, I don't think. Knowing little about post-processing kinda challenges you to be more efficient in the field :)
