Just experimenting with some high ISO and pushed saturation in an attempt to get a "painting" feeling (grainy..soft, fuzzy....rich color) with these Sea Grapes. Kind of like them. What do you think?

Thanks for looking.

Personally it does not give me that painted feeling, I see the noise as a bad thing, I would use PS filters instead.

Thanks for looking. That's the wonderful thing about art/photography.....it's so very subjective. I'm always amazed at what images some folks like or dislike. I thought these pics might have received more comments. ne_nau.gifheadscratch.gif They seem to have the old "Love" / "Hate" syndrome. rolleyes1.gif I guess that's part of the battle...to evoke a feeling. They usually elicit a response....good or bad. thumb.gif

    Cheers

IT's not a PS thing...or some odd digital image thing. It is really on the leaf. This is pretty common on these sea grape leaves. They get "red" spots. They spread...and soon the whole leaf becomes that red/burnt umber color. They fall off..get dried and turn orange...and look like little pumpkins. eek7.gif:D

    Thanks for looking.
